Discover Bangkok’s New Rooftop Garden — A Perfect Reason to Explore the City by Scooter

Bangkok has just opened its largest urban rooftop garden: an expansive 7-rai (≈11,200 m²) green oasis atop the Dusit Central Park development in the Silom district.

Opening on 3 September 2025, the garden is part of a 46-billion-baht mixed-use complex that includes retail, residences, a hotel, and more — all designed to revive the historic Silom area.

Why this is exciting for scooter adventurers

The garden is universally accessible, featuring native Thai plants, tiered walkways, a bird-nest lookout, and even an outdoor amphitheatre.

It’s located near major transit points like BTS Sala Daeng and MRT Silom, but having a scooter means freedom — explore Silom, Sathorn, and neighbouring areas at your own pace. No waiting for a train or BTS, no limitations on drop-off and pickup.

Imagine cruising through Bangkok, stopping off at hidden alleys and street food stalls, then winding up your ride with peaceful views from the rooftop garden at dusk.

Our recommendation

If you’re visiting Bangkok soon (or even a returning guest), renting a scooter is the ideal way to experience this flowering Silom revival. You get flexibility, a local perspective, and the chance to go off-the-beaten path.

For a limited time, we’re offering special rates on our scooter rentals to coincide with the garden’s opening. Perfect excuse to see the city in green!
